Medical Detox at Archstone Behavioral Health

When the brain and body grow dependent on a psychoactive chemical to feel relief, suddenly losing access to that substance causes emotional turmoil and physical withdrawal symptoms. While these symptoms are not usually dangerous, certain drugs can cause seizures and changes in heart rate during withdrawal. In order to help our patients through the detox process safely, Archstone Behavioral Health offers a comprehensive medical detox program to help people through their withdrawal symptoms. Detox isn’t fun, but you would be amazed at how much easier it is with the right medications and people around you. Being chemically dependent feels like a prison, but our clinicians are able to wean people off many types of drugs. This helps our patients avoid dangerous parts of withdrawal.

Partial Hospitalization (PHP) at Archstone Behavioral Health

For people with a prolonged or profound addiction, completing medical detox is one step toward lasting recovery. A partial hospitalization program ensures that patients’ vital signs are consistently monitored and that they are not experiencing immediate health concerns. At Archstone Behavioral Health, we recommend that some patients complete a partial hospitalization program before entering our residential treatment program. Although we have a full medical staff, our treatment center feels nothing like a hospital. We do our best to help people remain calm and comfortable. If you feel that addiction has robbed you of the life you want, Archstone is here to help.
