Archstone Behavioral Health
Long Term Community Setting With Our Residential Program
Our Residential Program is provided in a non-hospital setting and is meant for our clients to learn how to adapt and grow good habits within a community setting. This is a long term program and can last anywhere from 30 days to 9 months.
The Benefits of a Residential Program
Most relapses occur within the early stages of recovery. Unlike other programs where clients can go home for the night and be tempted to get “a fix”, At Archstone Behavioral Health, we have staff on hand 24-hours a day to help monitor our clients and their needs.
Treatment is highly structured with both group and individual exercises designed to help our residential clients examine damaging beliefs, self-concepts, and harmful patterns of behavior then embrace new, more cooperative and constructive ways to interact with others.
Everyone Is a Part of the Process
Because this is seen as a “resocialization,” everyone from staff to other clients in residence are seen as part of the treatment program. They can form bonds and learn and grow together, cultivating personal responsibility, accountability, and stability, as well as learning to live socially productive lives and avoid relapsing after detoxification.
Tools for Recovery
There are different levels within the Residential Program and the therapist will determine, on an individualized basis, what the clients have access to. We offer comprehensive programs designed to teach vocational skills, including employment training and other support services before moving to one of our Partial Hospitalization programs.
We also have laundry available once a week and a pool for relaxation. Once a therapist approves clients to visit offsite locations, the beach is just a short walk from our establishment.
