Archstone Behavioral Health

Long Term Residential Program

Archstone Behavioral Health’s inpatient residential program is provided in a non-hospital setting and is meant for our patients to learn how to adapt and grow good habits within a community setting. Each length of stay is based on the individual needs of every patient. The length of your program will be determined by you and your therapist and the clinical progress being made throughout treatment.

Benefits of a Residential Program

Most relapses occur within the early stages of recovery. Unlike other programs where patients can go home for the night and be tempted to get “a fix,” patients remain at our Palm Beach facility during their inpatient residential program. At Archstone Behavioral Health, we have staff on hand 24-hours a day to help monitor our patients and their needs.

Tools for Recovery

This stay is seen as a “resocialization,” making everyone from staff to other patients in residence a part of the substance abuse residential treatment program. They can form bonds, learn, and grow together, cultivating personal responsibility, accountability, and stability, as well as learning to live socially productive lives and avoid relapse after detoxification. Therapies throughout our inpatient residential program provide patients with the skills needed to handle outside triggers that could lead to relapse. They explore their emotional and mental disorders to learn how to cope without drug or alcohol use.

Our Substance Abuse Residential Program

There are different levels within the inpatient residential program, and the therapist will determine, on an individualized basis, what the patients have access to. We offer comprehensive programs designed to teach vocational skills, including employment training and other support services, before moving to one of our Partial Hospitalization programs.
